Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and modify 2D engineering drawings and 3D models as per project requirements.
- Develop mechanical designs, components, and assemblies based on technical specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, dimensional tolerances, and manufacturing requirements.
- Use CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant design tools.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Review designs and drawings for accuracy, functionality, and manufacturability.
- Support prototype development, design validation, and engineering changes.
- Maintain design documentation, revision records, and technical specifications.
- Identify design-related issues and recommend suitable engineering solutions.
- Ensure designs comply with company quality standards and project requirements.
Educational Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Practical knowledge of mechanical design principles and engineering drawing standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in relevant CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of 2D drafting, 3D modelling, and mechanical component design.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to design accuracy.
